BLACK HAW Powder is obtained from the plant Viburnum prunifolium which acts as an astringent, tonic and antispasmodic. Due to its astringent property, it is effective in diarrhea as well as in dysentery. It is very useful for the lumbar pain management in dysmenorrhoea, uterine colic. It is effective against chronic uterine inflammation, malaria induced menorrhagia, uterine hemorrhage and uterine congestion. Due to its antispasmodic nature, it is used in spasmodic dysmenorrhoea associated with excessive flow. It also has antiabortive property.
