ELDERFLOWER EXTRACT 4-1 is obtained from Sambucus nigra and is used in the treatment of constipation, arthritic conditions, inflamed eyes, bruises, burns, wounds and sprains. It acts as diuretic, haemostatic, purgative, galactogogue, diaphoretic and expectorant. In large doses, it acts as an emetic. It is also popular in making wines and acts as a preservative. It helps relieving spurious croup and asthmatic symptoms in children.
