QUERCETIN is used to reduce capillary fragility. It gives anti-inflammatory action by inhibiting overproduction of tumor necrosis factor-alpha and is used in the treatment of asthma by inhibiting cytokine expression and synthesis by basophils. It is also used in the treatment of atherosclerosis , diabetes, high cholesterol, peptic ulcer, heart diseases and viral infections.
