TAURINE USP is composed of an amino sulfonic acid naming taurine which is a building block of protein. It may be of use in the treatment of heart diseases and hypertension. It is also used in veterinary medicine to prevent retinal degeneration and oftaurine-deficiency cardiomyopathy in cats.
