TYLOSIN TARTRATE is a feed additive that acts as a bacteriostat in veterinary medicine. It helps in the treatment of chronic respiratory disease related to Mycoplasma gallisepticum in broiler chickens. It is also used in turkeys to maintain weight gain as well as feed efficiency during infectious sinusitis related to Mycoplasma gallisepticum. Moreover, it is used in the treatment and management of swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae and porcine proliferative enteritis associated with Lawsonia intracellularis. It is also used in the management of American Foulbrood (Paenibacillus larvae) in honey bees.
