ALLOPURINOL
Allopurinol is used in the treatment of lymphoma, leukemia and malignancy patients receiving cancer therapy. It is also used in the management of recurring calcium oxalate calculi patients. It acts to reduce hyperuricemia, Lesch-Nyhan syndrome, sarcoidosis, polycythemia vera. It is used in veterinary medicine to help elimination of crystals of uric acid via kidneys in dogs, poultry, cats, birds, and chimpanzee.
