Beta- cyclodextrin has solubilizing and stabilizing properties which make it an excellent excipient. So, it is be used to solubilize as well as to stabilize protein drugs and other preparations. It is also used in pellets preparation by extrusion process. It is used form complex with cholesterol of milk which then can be separated to get cholesterol free milk.
