BLUE COHOSH is obtained from the plant Caulophyllum thalictroides which is used to induce contractions of uterine and starting menstruation, labor as well as stopping muscle spasms. It is used as a laxative and is useful in treating sore throat, colic, uterus inflammation, cramps, epilepsy, hiccups and hysterics.
