Chlorella vulgaris

Chlorella vulgaris is a water-soluble microalga with a wide range of amino acids, peptides, proteins, vitamins, sugars and nucleic acids. It is a superfood with high nutritional and functional value, produced by fermentation to a light green fine powder, grown under heterotrophic conditions.

The advantages of using Chlorella vulgaris are demonstrated by how it has been traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to assist with low levels of iron, meaning it can help reduce fatigue.  It may also assist in helping maintain normal levels of cholesterol in the blood.  It also can show antioxidant properties.
