CLOTRIMAZOLE is an imidazole derivative that is used in the treatment of topical fungal, yeast infections and also dermatophyte. It is also used to treat candidal vaginitis against tricophyton, candida albicans and also microsporum species. It is also used in veterinary medicine as an antifungal.
