ERYTHROMYCIN ETHYLSUCCINATE is categorized as a macrolide antibiotic which is used to slow down the growth and sometimes kill sensitive bacteria by decreasing important protein production required by the bacteria for survival. It is used to treat certain infections including bronchitis, whooping cough, diphtheria, rheumatic fever, Legionnaires’ disease, venereal disease and urinary tract, intestine, lung, skin and ear infections.
