KELP EXTRACT 6-1 is obtained from a seaweed Fucus vesiculosus and is known as bladderwrack. It is used for the treatment of hypothyroidism caused by low iodine level and exhibits anti-estrogenic property which helps to reduce the risk of estrogen associated cancers, menstrual cramps, weight gain, headaches and mood swings. It may decrease blood glucose level which in turn helps to treat diabetes. Moreover, it contains funcans as well as fucoidans which impart anticoagulant property. It also exhibits anti-aging activity.
