L-CARNITINE BASE

L-CARNITINE BASE is used as a supplement which is used to treat primary systemic carnitine deficiency, secondary carnitine deficiency caused by metabolism error of inborn type due to glutaric aciduria, propionic academia, Type 2 diabetes and methylmalonic aciduria. It is also used parenterally for the treatment and prevention of carnitine deficiency caused by stage renal disease supported on hemodialysis.
