L-CARNOSINE is composed of histidine and alanine and it acts as an antioxidant which neutralizes free radicals that are responsible for damaging cells. This may improve neurological function in autism and is also beneficial against Alzheimer’s disease. It helps treating cataracts and is now used in preparing eye drops.
