LACTOSE

LACTOSE is a sugar composed of glucose and galactose molecule. It exhibits good compressibility property which is why it is used in tablet formulation. It is also used in the formation of diluent powder for dry inhalations powder. It also can be found in some OTC drugs preparation and birth control pills.
