MELOXICAM is used in the treatment of pain, swelling, stiffness and tenderness of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis. It is categorized as non steroidal anti inflammatory drug which works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandin and this in turn allows it to act against pain, inflammation and fever.
