POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE acts as a urinary acidifier which increases acidity of urine and this lowers urine pH. This may help decreasing some bacterial growth in urine as well as dissolving calcium stones. It also helps reducing urinary ammonia and as a result decreases odor and skin irritation. It is sometimes given with some antibiotics for bladder infections to work better.
