SASSAFRAS ROOT POWDER is obtained from the plant Sassafras albidum which acts as a stimulant and diaphoretic. It is used in conjunction with guaiacum or sarsaparilla to treat rheumatism, skin diseases and syphilis. It is useful against pains caused by menstrual obstructions and parturition, gleet as well as gonorrhoea.
