CHASTEBERRY is obtained from Vitex agnus castus which is used in the symptomatic relief of premenstrual syndrome and in the treatment of luteal phase defects because of latent hyperprolactinaemia due to its having dopaminergic compounds. It has anxiogenic effects which help to treat psychiatric disorders and symptoms.
