GOLDEN ROD EXTRACT is obtained from Solidago Canadensis which exhibits antiseptic, analgesic, febrifuge and astringent properties. It is used in the treatment of sore throats, diarrhoea, snakebites, fevers and pains. It contains quercitin which is useful in treating haemorrhagic nephritis. It imparts astringent property in treating bleeding and wounds. It is also used to treat urinary tract disorders including cystitis, nephritis and exhibits antifungal activity due to the presence of saponins which act against vaginal and oral thrush caused by Candida fungus. Moreover, it possesses anti-inflammatory, mildly diuretic, anthelmintic, diaphoretic and stimulant properties.
