GUAVA JUICE EXTRACT is obtained from the fruits of Psidium guajava which exhibits antispasmodic as well as antimicrobial properties and is used in the treatment of diarrhoea and dysentery. It acts as hypoglycemic, antioxidant, antimicrobial, cardioactive and antidiabetic. It also possesses hepatoprotective, antiinflamatory and anti-allergy activities. It contains phenolics, carotenoids, triterpenes and flavonoids which are responsible for imparting these properties.
