CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE is used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis of both seasonal and perennial type and allergic conjunctivitis. It is also effective in allergic reaction related pruritus, urticaria and angioedema skin manifestations and also helps in relieving common cold related sneezing and rhinorrhea. It is used as an adjunct therapy in anaphylactic reactions. In veterinary medicine, it is used against rhinitis, asthma, allergic dermatitis, coughing and laminitis.
