PROPYL PARABEN is a benzoic acid derivative which exhibits antimicrobial action and is used in cosmetics, moisturizers, conditioners, sunscreens and shampoos. It also acts as a preservative and when used in conjunction with other preservatives, it can give protection against wide range of microorganisms. This property gives longer shelf life to the products and also prevents molding.
