Purple Corn

Suntava Purple Corn is produced from a special strain of Andean maize. It is a proud member of the Healthy Food Ingredient
(HFI) family.

Advantages:

  • Anthocyanin/antioxidant health bene ts
  • Contains 4 x the level of anthocyanins as blue corn
  • 15–20% more essential amino acids

Available in:

  • Organic and conventional, pre- gelatinised, pre-cooked and roasted.
  • Varieties include; whole, cracked, meal, grit, flour, roasted whole, roasted flour and extract/nectar

Applications:

Tortilla chips, snacks (chips, extruded, puffed popped), cereals, popcorn, crackers baked goods, energy and nutrition bars, granolas, salsas, soups, baby foods, meal replacement powders, beverages, craft beer
